After busy in consulting for one of the top 5 global firms he is now an IT Systems Project Manager at a national asset management firm. Having an interest in community development, Ahmad is currently involved in a number community based initiatives that focus on bettering the community and developing youth. He is also a co founder of Crescent Wealth, as well as a board member of Bart Al Zakat Australia. Over 10 years’ experience in the IT industry and also sits on the board of an agile IT services company in Sydney’s west. He also is active in Muslim community through his engagement with various imams, mosques and Muslim organizations. The AMA works with individuals who are facing a range of issues relating to family and marital disputes, domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health, sorrow and loss, homelessness, and financial hardship. The GoActive initiative is the first of its kind in Australia for Muslim women specifically with the aim of promoting social peace and well lifestyles by establishing female only sports teams with ongoing sports competitions. GoActive is dedicated to promoting physical and social well being and encourage community peace through customary sports programs in an inclusive environment. GoActive continues to be thriving in providing organized sport for women addressing specific cultural and social needs and as a result amplify sports participation. Classes are aimed at building self confidence and physical training. He was awarded a degree in Islamic Jurisprudence in 1992 and is now preparing for a PhD in Islamic Studies. The collection process is the responsibility of the AMA Office, which works closely with the Treasurer in collection efforts and the accountability of expenditure of the funds. The AMA ensures entire confidentiality so the dignity of our Muslim brothers and sisters is maintained. The AMA Home will bear a culturally and religiously good facility providing a worry release and social lifestyle for elderly Muslim Australians while creating a favorable and feasible option to life behind retirement. The AFC program is an urgent initiative for the local Muslim community.
