PCYC Belmore has an exciting mix of activities for people of all ages. We’re well known for our boxing classes and we’re always growing our activities to hide a expansive range of interests. We look forward to seeing you at the club soon! The boxing for fitness class is an exercise class using training methods developed for the sport of boxing. It is a mirth fresh way to meet friends and stay active! PCYC is dedicated to offering to a range of gym and fitness options in the community and cater for all ages and ability levels. All our boxing classes cater for all fitness levels and ages. PCYC Boxing for Fitness is a laughter way to keep fit, improve confidence and strength and maintain self discipline. Boxing for Fitness classes cater for all ages and ability levels. PCYC has developing programs of martial arts tailored the communities' needs. Judo is a Japanese word meaning gentle way, and is a type of martial art that comes from the ancient Japanese martial art of jujitsu, meaning submissive way. Karate is a Japanese (Okinawa) system of unarmed combat using the hands and feet to deliver and block blows, widely practiced as a sport. A Japanese form of selfdefence and martial art that uses locks, holds, throws, and the opponent’s own movements. Hapkido is a type of Korean martial art which focuses on defense rather than offense, and is designed to neutralism an enemy through a range of techniques. PCYC offers hapkido programs with highly qualified instructors, with years of experience teaching and perfecting the art form. keno is a Japanese form of fencing with two handed bamboo swords (Sinai), originally developed as a sound form of sword training for samurai. keno, which translates literally to The Way of the Sword, is a contemporary Japanese martial art that evolved from the traditions of the samurai. PCYC offers this form of martial arts with skilled instructors within our clubs. Mixed Martial Arts is an harsh combat sport in which contestants are permitted to use the fighting techniques of wrestling and boxing but also those of martial arts such as kickboxing, judo, and karate. PCYC offers these classes with experienced instructors to interested people. Dancing has been a huge piece of getting all ages involved in the clubs at PCYC. Each club has developed classes for the local community and we have been capable to bear a variety to everyone. Ballroom dance is a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world. Irish dancing or Irish dance is a group of customary dance forms originating in Ireland which can broadly be divided into social dances and performance dances.
